Heather & Nick Schofield

Heather and Nick fell in love with the Atholl Palace Hotel when they were visiting and decided it was the perfect venue for their special day. Their guests all joined them from Lancashire and travelled up to make a real weekend of the celebrations!

The Ceremony was held in the Salon and Heather was piped in by Ghillie McNab and looked radiant as she walked in with Nick waiting nervously. The Ceremony was a wee bit emotional and many were grabbing for a tissue! Guests then enjoyed bubbly in the lounge as Heather and Nick had photographs. From their wedding picture it can be seen that they had some stunning photos next to our grand piano.

Guests then enjoyed a four course feast in the stunning Bow Lounge, Heather had chosen Cala lilies as her flowers for the tables and carried this through on the placecards and also each wedding favour for the guests which had a mini cala lily attached. Wedding favours were mini bottles of whisky and cava and I am sure they went down well with the guests later on!

Later on Heather and Nick had a special surprise for their guests with their first dance where they did a tango! both took dance lessons to ensure they were able to show their moves on the dancefloor. The Semies then played on into the night and with a keg of Braveheart Ale especially ordered in for the wedding it was a lively evening!

Heather and Kenny are a lovely couple and we know that we will see them again in the not too distant future!

We cannot begin to thank you enough for making our wedding day truly amazing. The hotel is a fantastic place in a beautiful setting; however without the professional, polite and friendly staff it would not be the same.

Our wedding has been a fairytale with unsurpassable moments. From Heather arriving on the Thursday before the wedding the planning and support of the event staff, especially Jessica, has been great.

We would like to say a special thank you to James the MC who is a very special person. He facilitated the smooth running of the day and instilled confidence as always.

Our thanks to the chef's, all the food has been fantastic and thanks to Debbie and her team in the Spa for all the bridal preparation.

Our wedding day was the best day of our lives thanks to you all. We have also had a fantastic honeymoon in the Edradour Suite. God willing we be back every year for our anniversary.
