Enjoy your stay without ever leaving the grounds of Atholl Palace Hotel. Spend time in our museum, the only museum of it’s kind to celebrate the social history of a hotel. In 2005, when it first opened it was the first hotel museum in the UK and we are the first hotel in the world to have its building recreated in Minecraft blocks as an educational tool for a museum.

Explore the beautiful estate gardens where our gardeners’ hard work and imaginative planting has been rewarded with several prizes from the Pitlochry in Bloom Competition over the last few years. The gardens have been developed with walkways and seats to encourage both hotel guests and day visitors to relax and enjoy the abundant wildlife and array of plants and colour.

Take a swim in our pool or relax with a treatment in our Spa. Our swimming pool and Spa are on the garden level of Atholl Palace Hotel with doors which open on to the fragrant oaks of the Black Spout woods to views of the Tummel Valley. The Spa has been designed to complement the Victorian Gothic architecture of the original hydropathic spa. Our water in the pools is from it’s original source, filtered through the volcanic rock of Ben y Vrackie. Our indoor facilities include a spa bath, steam room and gym.

Our yearly tennis tournament attracts big numbers, while pitch and putt is also a daily popular sport. Enjoy a friendly snooker tournament on our full sized snooker table or to keep the kids entertained we also have a games room with a pool table.
