Blair Atholl Distillery

Founded in 1798, Blair Atholl Distillery is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland and situated only two minutes from Atholl Palace Hotel. Situated in the very heart of Scotland and the place that Bell’s calls home. The Nutty, rich signature malt is distilled at this distillery then added to the blend. Full of almonds, ginger cake and spices it gives Bell’s that unique, sumptuous, richness. Venture on a guided tour of Blair Atholl Distillery which generally last around 5-6 hours allowing you plenty time for a full tour of the distillery and a delicious dram of Blair Athol Single Malt Whisky.

Dewars Distillery

Dewar’s Distillery is located on the outskirts of the picturesque small market town of Aberfeldy, just over 20 minutes from Atholl Palace Hotel. Even today, the Aberfeldy Distillery, is considered ‘The home to Dewar’s World of Whisky’ this is because it is of great importance as it is the home of the respected single malt that is the heart of the Dewar’s family of blends.

Dalwhinnie Distillery

Dalwhinnie Distillery stands in the Cairngorm National Park at the heart of the Scottish Highlands in the village of Dalwhinnie, about 40 minutes drive from us here at Atholl Palace Hotel. Made in the highest and coldest working distillery in Scotland, with water from a loch at 2000 feet, Dalwhinnie whisky thrives on extreme conditions, creating a liquid as sweet and accessible as its highland home is remote.
